EARTH ACCORD GAME
The Earth Accord is an interactive, strategy-based simulation designed to challenge students’ critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. In this game, participants take on the roles of leaders from various nations, each facing a unique set of global challenges, such as environmental crises, resource shortages, economic disparity, and military conflicts. The goal is for students to negotiate and collaborate to solve these interconnected issues and establish peace across the world, all while managing their country’s interests. The game is played with 12-35 players over the course of 5 days.
The game encourages students to apply diplomatic strategies, exercise creativity, and make difficult decisions that consider both short-term gains and long-term consequences. Throughout the simulation, students experience the complexity of international relations and the importance of compromise and communication in achieving a peaceful resolution.It emphasizes 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, and communication, fostering a deep understanding of global dynamics and the need for cooperative leadership in solving real-world problems.
